About the Artist:

Rebecca Pasquarello graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2005, with a concentration in painting. In 2006, she also received a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Art Education from Kutztown University. After working several years as long-term substitute art teacher, in 2011 she took a position as a receptionist at a veterinary hospital. This led to a career change to a vet assistant. She is currently enrolled in Penn Foster's Veterinary Technician program to become a certified vet tech. In 2015, she combined her artist talent with her love of animals and began Howling Hound Art Studio to paint custom pet portraits. She lives in Chester County PA. with her husband, their dog Blue (the howling hound), and a small herd of guinea pigs.

Howling Hound portraits are

painted with acrylic paint on canvas.

I work from photographs so you will need to provide at least 3 very clear, close-up photos of your pet. Most importantly, the photos should capture the personality of your pet. Unusual perspectives make more interesting compositions for your painting! I will work with you throughout the process to ensure you are happy. Paintings typically take 8-12 weeks to complete.

A 50% deposit is required at the time of order, with the balance due on completion.
